Day 13 – A Quiet Spirit

1 Peter 3:4 (NKJV)

“Rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.”

The evidence of the abiding presence of God is not the gifts of the Spirit – it’s the Fruit of the Spirit! When we live our lives bearing the Fruit of the Spirit, God is well pleased – we are precious in His sight!

Prayer Focus:

Father, cultivate inner beauty and gentleness within Your daughters. Holy Spirit, help us to see where we have allowed carnality to take a foothold and help us to bear Your fruit in every relationship and every conversation. We want our lives to glorify you!
