Day 8 – Abide in My Love

John 15:9–11 (NKJV)

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”

God wants His daughters abiding not striving. He is more interested in who you are becoming than what you are doing. Even as you are using this devotional, resist the temptation to just go through the motions and seek that deeper place of intimacy with Him.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, teach us to dwell in Your love. Let abiding replace striving and joy replace performance.
