Day 5 – Beauty for Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)

“To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

God is moved by every tear, by everything that threatens your peace. He sees the pain and He is moved by it. He desires to meet you right where you are to bring hope and joy.

Prayer Focus:

Holy Spirit, exchange ashes for beauty. Clothe every daughter in the garment of praise and establish them as oaks of righteousness that you may be glorified.
